The 32nd Annual Gotham Awards Nominees
Earlier this week, The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the 32nd Annual Gotham Awards nominees, consisting of twenty-three films, 15 television series, and 35 performers across twelve award categories. The below nominees were announced on a live stream hosted by Variety from Cipriani Wall Street by Emmy-nominated star of Pose and American Horror Story on FX and, most recently, as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, Angelica Ross. Jeffrey Sharp, the Executive Director of The Gotham and host of the Gotham Awards, joined Ross.
“We are thrilled to announce this year’s Gotham Award nominees and look forward to celebrating together live and in person in a few weeks. Over 500 films and TV shows were submitted for consideration this year. These filmmakers demonstrated tremendous courage and invention in the production of their work during these months, and we’d like to congratulate them all.” said Sharp.
The following nominees are the first of the 2022-2023 awards season. They will shape what films will be at the top of voters' minds the closer we get to similar ceremonies such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globes, the Spirit Awards, and many other critics' guilds. The 2022 Gotham Awards Ceremony will be held live and in person at 7 pm on Monday, November 28th, 2022, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
