Bill & Ted Get An Excellent New Release Date
In the least excellent of timelines, there is the ray of light that is a new trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music, which is just the kind of comedy that's needed right now. Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are back as we know them to rock out and give Avengers: Endgame a run for its money as one of the most confusing time-travel movies to date. Thankfully though, they're not trying to stop a purple ecoterrorist that needs a new skincare routine. Instead, they've grown up, settled down and raised their daughters Billie and Thea (Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine) to be as excellent as them and to save the universe. Pre-pandemic, we would've been less than a month away from seeing this effort, but the world isn't quite ready yet. So, Orion Pictures has decided to do a simultaneous VOD and theatrical release on September 1st, which is most excellent if I do say so myself.
