Disney+ Releases The First Trailer and Teaser Poster for Marvel Studio's Hawkeye
Yesterday, Disney+ and Marvel Studios shared the first trailer and teaser poster for Hawkeye, the newest series that takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Hawkeye, former Avenger Clint Barton as he tries to get back to his family for Christmas. When Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer enters the fray, the two are forced to work together when an enemy from Barton's time as "Ronin" threatens to derail the festive spirit.
Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye debuts exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
What do you all think of the trailer? Personally, I love the idea of setting the series during the holiday season, and Hawkeye having to reckon with his time as Ronin. It makes for a very interesting premise, and I can't wait to see it this November. Also, I'm told the series borrows heavily from the Matt Fraction series. I wasn't reading comics at that time, so experiencing Clint apart from his fellow Avengers and learning who Kate Bishop is will be neat! What do you think, though? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below or on any of the social networks I'm on!
Until next time!
