Disney's Cruella Arrives on Digital and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Fashionably Early
After amassing $87 million at the worldwide box office in just ten days (as of this writing), Disney Home Video has decided to release Cruella early on all major digital movie storefronts on June 25th and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD September 21st. The 4K Ultra HD and Digital releases (on some platforms) will have Dolby Atmos playback and are sourced from a 4K digital intermediate.
If you need a refresher on what Cruella is about, there's a fun trailer below!
If bonus features are your thing, Cruella's digital and home release will have bloopers, two deleted scenes, a featurette called "The Two Emmas" about how real-life friends Emma Stone and Emma Thompson prepared for their roles, a featurette called "The Sidekick Angle" about the actors who play Horace (Paul Walter Hauser) and Jasper (Joel Fry), featurettes about the costume design, production design, and the animal actors called "Cruella Couture", "The World of Cruella", "New Dogs...Old Tricks", and a featurette called "Cruella 101" about the connection to the original 101 Dalmatians.
The digital release of Cruella will be available in 4K UHD, HD, and SD on major digital movie storefronts, in a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (4K UHD + Blu-ray (film only) + digital code), a Multi-Screen Edition (Blu-ray (film only) + DVD+ Digital Code) & DVD.
Additionally, you can catch Cruella when it becomes available to Disney+ subscribers on August 27th.
