New Faces & Legacy Wildcats Return in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 4

Now that production of the fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is underway in Salt Lake City, Disney has announced the new cast members that will be appearing in the season.

The big news is that Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed, and Kaycee Stroh will return to East High this season. It's unclear how often we'll be seeing these Wildcats, but they are playing themselves in the season, also resurrecting their roles as "Chad Danforth," "Taylor McKessie," "Ryan Evans," "Coach Jack Bolton," "Ms. Darbus," and "Martha Cox," respectively.

The fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series sees our Wildcats returning to East High to put on a stage production of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. However, those plans are disrupted when Principal Gutierrez announces that Disney will be filming High School Musical 4: The Reunion on location at East High, with our Wildcats playing featured extras in the movie.

New cast members include Kylie Cantrall as social media star "Dani;" Matthew Sato as sitcom actor "Mack;" Caitlin Reilly as indie film director "Quinn;" and Vasthy Mompoint as choreographer "Krystal." in recurring roles.

These new additions and legacy Wildcats join series regulars Joshua Bassett ("Ricky"), Sofia Wylie ("Gina"), Dara Reneé ("Kourtney"), Julia Lester ("Ashlyn"), Frankie Rodriguez ("Carlos"), Kate Reinders ("Miss Jenn") and Liamani Segura ("Emmy").

At publish time, there has been no word on whether Saylor Bell Curda ("Maddox"), Adrian Lyles ("Jet"), Meg Donnelly ("Val") or legacy wildcats Zac Efron ("Troy Bolton"), Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella Montez"), Ashley Tisdale ("Sharpay Evans") will be joining the cast of season four.

Seasons one through three of the GLAAD Media Award-winning series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series are currently streaming on Disney+.
