What to Expect from the PlayStation Showcase

Today, Sony will be offering "one more look at some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond)!" The showcase is said to be around 40 minutes long, with updates from PlayStation Studios and their partners. That said, here's what I expect to be shown at the Showcase.

PlayStation Studios

So, let's get the most obvious one out of the way. If this is truly a final look on what to expect from PS5's launch lineup, I expect huge reveals.

We'll likely see Guerilla Game showcase Horizon: Forbidden West in a short demo that showcases what makes this entry different from Zero Dawn. Then, Insomniac Games will show off Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales with a short but sweet demo ending in a tease of co-op gameplay. Afterwards, Insomniac will also announce the release date of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. We might see Gran Turismo 7 here as well from Polyphony Digital. From here on out, we'll get a short look at some PlayStation Studios games ported over like Bloodborne, Marvel's Spider-Man, God of War, The Order: 1886.

Partners

Demon's Souls , Godfall, Destruction All Stars, Returnal, Hitman 3, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Marvel's Avengers and Bugsnax are all likely to receive short gameplay trailers with a release date attached to them.

Likewise, Deathloop, Ghostwire: Tokyo , Far Cry 6, Resident Evil VIIlage, Goodbye Volcano High, Jett: The Far Shore, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Little Devil Inside, Stray, Solar Ash and The Pathless are bound to receive trailers with vague gameplay attached to them as well with a similarly vague 2021 release date. Grand Theft Auto V could also show up here, but something tells me that won't be shown off for awhile.

Could or Couldn't Happen

Even though Microsoft has unveiled the pricing and release date for both the Xbox Series X and Series S, I doubt that this showcase will divulge those details. Then again, I didn't think we'd see the PS5 at the last showcase.
