The Banshees of Inisherin Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD Release Dates Announced
After almost a month in theaters, Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution has announced that acclaimed director (In Bruges, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, among a few others) Martin McDonagh's latest film, The Banshees of Inisherin, will release on Digital December 13th and Blu-ray and DVD on December 20th, with never-before-seen bonus content featuring actors Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and director-writer Martin McDonagh.
The film made its World Premiere in September to critical acclaim at the Venice Film Festival, where it won the Best Screenplay Award for McDonagh and the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for Farrell. It was released theatrically in October, earning the highest opening per screen average of the fall.
In my review, I called the film a "must-see" due to its "great acting, stunning cinematography, and everything else you could want from an awards hopeful."
