A24 has released the trailer for writer-director Valdimar Jóhannsson's Lamb, starring Noomi Rapace, Hilmir Snær Guðnason, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, and Ingvar E. Sigurðsson. The film will release in theaters on October 6th. Click the YouTube play button below to watch the trailer.

Plot synopsis: A childless couple in rural Iceland make an alarming discovery one day in their sheep barn. They soon face the consequences of defying the will of nature, in this dark and atmospheric folktale, the striking debut feature from director Valdimar Jóhannsson.

What did you think of the trailer?. The film was a Cannes favorite, winning the Prize of Originality there in the Un Certain Regard program. Personally, I'm a sucker for A24 movies or "out there premises, so I don't even need to see the trailer to be convinced.
