Slamdance 2023 | Downwind Interview with Co-Director Mark Shapiro

Before Slamdance kicks off, I got the opportunity to interview Mark Shapiro, co-director of the documentary Downwind, which premiered at Slamdance 2023.

Downwind is a documentary about nuclear fallout in the United States - specifically Utah, the land of the Shoshone Nation that the government used for nuclear tests for 40 years. These tests obliterated the landscape and exposed people (known as "downwinders"), the environment, and animals to deadly fallout.
