It's On in the First Music Video from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 3

This past Friday, Disney+ and Walt Disney Records released the first music video from season three of the Disney+ Original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, with "It's On." The third season will premiere on Wednesday, July 27th on Disney+, with singles released every week until Friday, September 16th, when the season's soundtrack releases on both physical and digital formats.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, "It's On" was originally performed in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam by the Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato and was written by Toby Gad, Kovasciar Myvette, and Lyrica Anderson. In the universe of the series, however, the song is performed in the middle of the season when Camp Shallow Lake is split in two for their annual Color War, where Blue Team competes against Yellow Team.

Series creator and showrunner Tim Federle had this to say when asked about this season's lineup of music.

“With brand-new songs for our series, Oscar-winning Frozen songs, and DCOM classics pulled from the High School Musical and Camp Rock songbook, audiences are in for a tuneful summer season.”
