Something Wicked This Way Comes in the First Official Trailer for Joel Coen's The Tragedy of Macbeth
Moments ago, A24 released the first official trailer for Joel Coen's retelling of the William Shakespeare tragedy from 1606, Macbeth, The Tragedy of Macbeth prior to its world premiere this Friday as the Opening Night Film at this year's New York Film Festival.

Plot synopsis: Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand star in Joel Coen’s bold and fierce adaptation; a tale of murder, madness, ambition, and wrathful cunning.
The film also stars Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Harry Melling, Brendan Gleeson, Moses Ingram, and Kathryn Hunter. The Tragedy of Macbeth releases in select theaters on December 25th (AKA Christmas) and will stream for Apple TV+ subscribers starting on January 14th.
