The 2022-2023 International Film Society Critics Association (IFSCA) Awards Winners

Earlier this week, one of the newest critics groups I'm a part of, The International Film Critics Society Association, which is now in its third year of operation, announced the winners of the 2022-2023 International Film Society Critics Association Awards.

Since I didn't get to cover the nominations (hey, I was sick!), let me set the stage. First, picking up the most nominations was the critical and audience favorite, and the latest from directing duo Daniels Everything Everywhere All at Once, with 19 nominations, leaving only ten categories where it is nominated. Next, two films are tied for second place: Martin McDonagh's Irish Black comedy, The Banshees of Inisherin, and the Tom Cruise-led box office juggernaut Top Gun: Maverick with nine nominations each. Next, Gina Prince-Bythewood's action epic depicting the Mahomey tribe, The Woman King, secured eight nominations, while the most-watched foreign language film of 2022, RRR, grabbed six nominations.

Now that we've familiarized ourselves with the most nominated films, let's familiarize ourselves with the winners. The results are as follows. Winners are marked in bold with runner-ups noted.
