Everything You Need to Know About the 2021 Film Independent Spirit Awards

After a year of numerous films being delayed, sent to streaming services, premium rentals, what did this mean for Film Independent?

For starters, Film Independent introduced television categories. Then, Film Independent moved up their Spirit Awards to the Thursday before the 93rd Oscars.

How Can I Watch the 2021 Film Independent Spirit Awards?

The 2021 Film Independent Spirit Awards will be broadcast live on IFC on Thursday, April 22nd, with a cocktail reception starting at 9 PM Eastern, and the ceremony hosted by SNL's Mellisa Villaseñor begins at 10 PM Eastern. You can watch via Film Independent ($35 for Members, $50 for non-Members, and is free for Film Lover and Arts Circle Members), the IFC app (TV provider required), or stream through AMC+($9/month), AT&T TV ($70/month), FuboTV ($65/month), Hulu Live TV ($65/month), or YouTube TV ($65/month).
